The PFVCC

The stage was set for week 17 to be a notable one for one of our top pickers to this point. SR and LF have been battling down the stretch with flashes of brilliance from SS, KS and company sprinkled in. Going into the week LF and SR were tied with just two weeks to go and this was going to be a test of who could capitalize on the GOO and who had the guts to make the tough picks. If there were any questions going into week 17, they have since been answered as the leader for most of the season, SR pulled through once again! Although he didn’t have the best week on the boards, he did have the week that mattered most and at 13-3 it was enough to give him a 2 game cushion on LF heading into the final week. Taking 3 out of 4 on the GOO from LF, SR took it convincingly and now has just one week left between himself and his 1st Championship.. Here’s to a great week 17 performance SR! SR might have had the most at stake but he did not out perform everyone. CM was the man of the hour (or week) as he was able to put up a dandy of a pick sheet with 14 winners overall. Although he isn’t competing for a title this year, CM knows that finishing strong matters! Great week CM!

Week 17 brought us 5 contests that were highlighted as loners and for ease of this section of news let’s just note that none were successful. DP, MM and MS, we know how much thought went into your loner picks and we wish you the best on your next loner endeavors! -signed the PFVCC community

One week remains. One week for moves to be made and recognition to be had. With 17 weeks now behind us, we look to week 18 to be the exclamation point on a great season. Best of luck in the final chapter and hope everyone ends on a high note!

LF
