The PFVCC

Week 10 recap: 2020 season continues to be impossible to predict; Sorry to everyone that picked BUF this week; and someone pour MM a stiff drink after a lackluster performance gets him evicted from the penthouse. But as we know, one man’s loss is another mans glory and that is what we saw in week 10 as it marked a power shift in the PFVCC. This week belonged to CM, who after posting 10 winners finds himself in a tie for the top spot with SS. CM has been lingering near the top for several weeks now, and finally decided that this was the opportune moment to make moves (with a little help from a skidding MM). Not to be overlooked were LF, SR and DR who also had 10 wins on the week to share in the top weekly honors. Great piece of picking in a wild week of football! SS and MS were not to shabby themselves, as they picked off 9 wins of their own to keep them feeling saucy. We respect the hustle you two!

The loner temptation remains as 4 games were selected as the loneliest picks of week 10. MM was the most lonely as he went 0-for-2 on his selections with HOU losing to CLE and CIN unable to hand PIT their first loss of the 2020 season. DP shared in the same pain as his SF pick couldn’t overtake NO in the Superdome. Better luck next time Gents. SR had the 4th and final loner selection of the week and it had him feeling good as his NYG knocked off PHI. Admirable to say the least SR, Nice pick!

Momentum shifting, and the back and forth saga continues near the top of the standings leaves us wanting more football. The defending champ and the All-time wins leader sit side by side up top. The battered and bruised MM, and the Dark-horse KS follow a few paces behind, and a field that yearns for a slice of glory. The story continues in week 11…
