The PFVCC

Week 11 was not one for the weak hearted, as we saw 10 out of the 14 games get decided by one score or less including a couple of OT matchups. There were back and forth’s across the board and in a week as GOO-ey as this was, we knew that every win would be pivotal in where our initials would be arranged on the leaderboards come Monday night. In a bloodbath of a week, it was SS that stood the mightiest because although he didn’t have the most wins on the week, he holds the top spot all on his own. Sometimes the GOO talks and this week 8 winners was all he needed to show for it. Nice performance in big spots SS. MM was able to peel himself off the mat and fight his way back into the conversation once again as he posted a 9-5 record to give him top honors and move him a game closer to SS. Great resiliency MM! MS, BS and the aforementioned SS rounded out the picking honors with their 8 wins a piece. The rest of the field feels like tossing week 11 by the wayside, and rightfully so… Perhaps the tides will change in week 12..

DP was the only loner in week 11 and he did it two times for safety… a little hedge of the bet, if you will.. His IND pick over GB proved to be gold but the back half of the plan didn’t come to fruition as his NYJ couldn’t get over the hump against LAC in a tightly contested game throughout. Nonetheless we salute the risk and appreciate the dramatics!

It’s week 12.. Thanksgiving week here in the PFVCC and just a friendly reminder to lock in your picks for all of the TNF games that are on the schedule (there are 3). 6 weeks left to go and tensions are on the rise as we enter the stretch drive! Best of luck to all and a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!
