MIP shows face right on queue

PM leads the charge with 10 wins

Effective date: 2019-11-05
Midseason indifference phenomenon. Need I say more about the lackluster week 8 that left some wondering more about when they will be putting up their Christmas decor, rather than making their picks the rest of the season. That frustration was felt up and down the leaderboards as most folks saw their GOO get the best of them, but there were a few that were able to overcome and sneak by unscathed. PM evaded the MIPโ€™s grasp and lead the week with 10 winners to give him something to feel good about, nicely done and keep fighting! Right behind him was the 9 win quartet of MS, LF, DP and MM which is deserving of a golf clap as they stood firm. With his performance this week MS was able to shake free of CM and now sits at the top on his own. The jousting match continues and MS is showing why heโ€™s someone to be reckoned with.

We are gathered here today to remember DR, who continued his push for loner pick kudos, but come up empty handed once again as this week he got called out looking on 3 strikes. DR took WAS, CHI and NYGโ€ฆall fell to their opponents leaving him staring at a 0-7 drought in loner attempts on the season. We feel for you DR! DP had the same result on his loner as TB couldnโ€™t take down MVP candidate Russel Wilson and his SEA team. We extend our condolences gentleman, but love the guts!!

Donโ€™t look now, but the standings are starting to thin out more and more and with the home stretch on the horizon, who will rise to the occasion? KS, just one week removed from getting some notice, scuffles a bit, but that doesnโ€™t define him. Most others lost ground in week 8, so moving forward to week 9 everyone hopes for bounce back performances. Still plenty of time to make moves so keep those eyes on the prize!

Still Pimpinโ€™,

LF
