The PFVCC

Halfway home, and it seems like the winners keep winning. At least, that’s how CM and MS are making it seem as they keep on their tear at the top like Brittney Spears in ’04 (which, if the analogy holds true, always leaves the door open to a catastrophic meltdown…but for now they stay at the top). They were among the four that raked in 13 winners, along with SS (who keeps streaking at a blistering rate) and KS. Our friend KS, to this point has flown beneath the radar, peppering solid performances week in and week out, but there’s a sense that he’s knocking on the door of a breakout stretch much like he’s shown in years’ passed… keep an eye on him. Great week by those four! A pat on the back is also deserving to our 12 win performers, LF, JP, MM, and KB were in sync as they were able to hang around and keep themselves in the mix…good stuff fellas.

We had 2 lonely members in week 8, DR and DP, and lonely they stayed as neither of them could hit on their loner choices. DP was unable to capitalize on MIA over PIT, when at first glance it looked like MIA had the edge, they quickly became the MIA team we all thought they were. Unfortunately for DR he had a worse go of it as he missed on a pair of loners with DEN losing to IND and KC losing to GB. Not the outcomes they were looking for but a wink and a nod to you both for the boldness.

The NFL has been a fickle battle ground thus far, and it only will get tougher from here on out as teams battle their division rivals for position and the great teams begin separating themselves. The same can be said of PFVCC membership…this is when the “pick’em” stakes get higher. With that, I leave you.. Best of luck in the second half!
