The PFVCC

Upsets. That was the headline this week across the NFL, and it proved to hurt many a picker’s hopes to make a move in week 10. MM, KS and SS continue to play musical chairs with the 2 through 4 spots, keeping pace with BS for the moment…perhaps in an attempt to lull him to sleep before they make their moves. Bold strategy cotton, but one that we will follow closely. However, this week belonged to a pair of members that have been flying under the radar lately (which they probably prefer…..well one for sure prefers it that way). Somehow able to slalom by the mip thus far ,LF and CM, who tallied 10 and 9 wins respectively to lead all pickers this week, are trying to climb back into contention and make themselves relevant down the stretch. Over the past 2 weeks CM has made up 4 games, while LF has made up 5 on the leader. Now on notice, let’s see if these two have enough in the tank to make this interesting, or if they will fall back down to earth beneath the bright lights. Right behind them are MS, JP and SR, who are reading up on the best underdog sports stories of all time for inspiration.

Loner picks were back on the map this week as 3 games got the nod from 2 members who frequent the loner category. DP swung for the fences with 2 games on loner watch but DET and SEA fell short for him in hard fought battles. Our friend NF was a MIA fan for the week.. and a MIA fan no more as they got routed by GB. Though none were successful, golf claps all around for the efforts Gents.

Week 11 approaches and with the way things have been going around the league it is impossible to know what is to come. We await the drama to unfold, stay tuned…
