The PFVCC

If there was a week that membership would opt to throw out as a whole it would be week 11. It was an ugly week statistically speaking, as nine out of 15 members finished below .500 and not a single picker saw double digits in the win column for the first time this season. Amongst the disappointment, DP was able to find some positivity as he pulled 9 wins out of his back pocket (nicely done I must say) with BS SS and PM snatching 8 a piece (not as nicely, but done well nonetheless). MM’s week didn’t go according to plan as he dropped out of the second spot down to fourth spot losing 3 games in the standings.

BS, who posted his 3rd straight 8 win performance, has fallen off his hot stretch but that hasn’t kept him from extending his lead even further in that span. Here we sit with 6 weeks left… BS has left the door ajar…it’s up to someone to kick it open… Is this going to be a landslide down the stretch or is there a closer among the group that can spoil BS’ season long glory?.. And so we wait..

Looking at the Loners this week, we had four members attempt and two that were successful. PM took DET over CAR, and MS chose OAK over ARZ. Both were able to eke out close victories, well deserving of a nod. On the even lonelier side of things, NF lost a close one taking CIN who fell to BAL, and LF……picking with his heart and not his head…took PHI, who got battered and their lunch money taken by NO. Tough day..
