I am deeply apologetic. Very, very seldom does a unanimous pick lose - and the Sub-Dolphins found a way to do that in a very uggggggly, uggggggly game. The only fun is to read the sports pages where all the "know it alls" each have an opinion of why and what will happen next. I hope, hope, hope that this was only an aberation. So much for us East Coasters. And, at present, we are not worried so much about football as that big circular thing in the Atlantic. Blow hard, will you all and get it to go north. JD

*** MEMBER MESSAGE *** As you might have seen, during the last two evenings we have had problems with the web site. The firm hosting the issue is looking at it as I can not duplicate it on our testing server. Hang tough, it always seems to come back to life in the morning. I will keep you posted.

JD, Saturday, Sunday and Monday picks are due by Friday at 8:00. All other picks are due by 8:00 PM the previous night. Please refer to the Membership Manual by clicking on the link on the lower left side of the screen (you will need to scroll down a little). Good luck !!

I need help, I can't remember what the rules are for a week in which there is an early game, like this week on Thursday. Do we have to pick only the Thursday game by this evening and then the rest by Friday evening, or do they all have to be picked this evening (Wednesday). Please, somebody, reply ASAP. JD

*** Membership Message *** - Slight delay with the Pick Books. They are printed and will be mailed Saturday or Tuesday. Sorry for the delay (but who really needs them with this spiffy system). If you need a record of the games of this week, just go to the first week (Make Picks: Week 1) and select from your browser menu "File" then "Print" ...... OR ....... Press CTRL-P when on the make picks screen for week one. Sorry for the delay......

Congrats to JB!!!!!.............a TRUE Silky Sullivan finish for the top 3. But JB hammers out a gritty photo finish, much in the style of Marco"The Magician" Castaneda and Lafitt "The Pirate" Pincay. If I must finish 15 games back...I want to lose to the best!!!.........Congats to SR and SS too!!!....Fine finish!!

JB, great finish!!!! I remember my first year in the PFVCC and you came from way back to tie me and SS for first place in the last week. But, SS won the playoff. So this time it was your turn. By the way, can anybody find a heart for the Miami Dolphins?
