The PFVCC

LF has done it! After the previous few seasons left him to contemplate the “what-ifs”, he was determined to change his fortune and get over the hump. After a long, battle-tested season he ultimately answered the call. He was 4 games back after 8 weeks and it was week 9 that was the turning point for him when he went 14-1 and propelled himself into the top spot. From then on, he never looked back and here in week 18 he secured 11 wins to put the exclamation mark on his second career championship! As if that wasn’t enough, it gets sweeter for LF as he also became the first member in PFVCC history to log 200+ wins in a season! 202 to be exact…A truly remarkable feat and a final bow on a phenomenal season for LF! As for the rest of the podium, KS and SS finish the season gridlocked in a tie for 2nd. Both deserving of a picture with the pen and pencil set as they continue to be models of consistency and add to their resumes. Well done gents! Finally, a nod to all membership as everyone posted great numbers up and down the board. Early indications are that this could be the winningest season ever, and one that will be remembered as everyone avoided the MIP. More to come on this at the Pig Dinner, but for now we can all be proud!

LF can finally rest easy knowing the penthouse is truly his. Tonight he pours himself TWO knuckles of fine bourbon and reflects on the year he just had. He got the girl, He got the job, he got the championship and cemented his name in PFVCC history. What more could he ask for? If there is something that comes to mind, I can’t think of it. For the final time this year we sign off. Thank you to membership for a great year, and a final congratulations to LF!

Your President and Two-Time Champ,

LF
