In a season that has seen great success from membership, it’s not a wonder that week 17 delivered more of the same. KS lead the charge with a 14-2 performance that has brought him within striking distance. Not only did KS set himself up for an outside shot at a championship, but he joined the exclusive 6,000 win club in process. He is now the third member of said club and its fitting that he did so behind another great week. Congrats to KS on his impressive week 17 and his equally stellar career to this point. DJ and PM are deserving of some recognition of their own as they grabbed 13 wins and are trending up headed into the final week. Finally, LF and MM bring in 12 wins to tie up our week 17 notables. Now we look ahead to the final hand. The cards have been dealt and currently LF has the biggest stack at the table. He so badly wants this title as he’s been knocking at the door the last handful of seasons and hasn’t gotten it done. He's finished in 2nd, four out of the last five seasons and he feels like it's finally his time. SS, who always feels like it’s his time, sits 3 games out which was the exact scenario he faced 2 seasons ago against LF when he came back to win. Yes, LF remembers. KS sits 4 games out, and if he can have a week like the one he just had, there might be more big headlines in store for him. Then there’s MM, who is 7 games back and although a championship may be too lofty of aspirations, he will look to play spoiler and snag a spot on the podium. Oh what a final week we have in store! By Sunday night, another Champion will be crowned here in the PFVCC. The stage has been set, and after 17 hard fought weeks there is only one question that needs answering. Who will be crowned next?
