The PFVCC

Since the inception of the PFVCC in 1981, there have been 8 perfect performances. Yes…only 8 times has a member correctly selected all of the winning teams in a given week… And here, 18 years removed from the last time we saw it, we had 3! SS, BS and CM have cemented their legacies and their initials into the “Perfect Performances” Plaque after going 14-0, and what a sight it was to behold! As if that wasn’t historic enough, it needs to be mentioned that this is not the first time these three members have went “perfect” in their careers. BS was the first to ever do it in 1984, SS in 1992, 1999 & 2006 and CM also in 1999. Incredible performances and a feat that will be recognized for years to come! Congrats you three! Although week 6 was headlined by history, the rest of membership had some phenomenal showings of their own. DP, MM, LF and DJ went 13-1, KS and PM at 12-2, MS 11-3 and KB at 10-4 round out the picker performances. All would be great performances and possible weekly leaders any other week, but unfortunately for the group they all lost ground in the standings. Nothing to be disappointed in, because if you’re going to go down you might as well go down to a perfecto!

Loner news should be easy to track since none of our perfect performance members selected a loner of their own, so you do the math on this one. DJ, KS and MS we appreciate the effort.

Finally, to cap off our historic week 6, DP has captured his own bit of history by joining the 2,000 win club! Not to be overshadowed, we commend your career to this point and may you enjoy many more wins along the way!

Thats a wrap on week 6… a tough act to follow, but week 7 will give it its best shot!

Your President,

LF
