The PFVCC

Week 5 was a hard fought battle across the PFVCC. The first round of bye weeks were in effect which means a smaller slate making each win that much more impactful. LF knew this coming in and after his lackluster week 4 performance he delivered 10 wins to lead the group and restore belief in the “worst to first” mantra. LF also hit a career milestone as week 5 brought him his 3,000th career victory. A great week for LF, and a nod to a solid career to this point but the job’s not finished! SS knows a little bit about finishing a job and his 9 wins kept himself right where he wants to be as he retains his penthouse keys. DP, MM, BS, KS & MS also logged 9 wins to keep in lockstep with SS while NF and DJ give each other a wink and a nod from across the aisle as they pulled in 8 victories to round out the week 5 notables. With a tight race on our hands to this point, it still remains anyones for the taking.

Two members logged a combined 3 loners to peak memberships interest this week. Unfortunately there was only one win to be had and CM was not that one as his LAS pick wasn’t able to keep up with DEN. A good effort nonetheless CM. NF went 1 for 2 on the week winning with ARZ over SF in a close one but unable to capitalize on NO in primetime against Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift and the gang. Still, we congratulate you on the victory NF!!

Week 5 felt like a table setter for what’s to come as we push toward the middle third of the season. SS sits on the penthouse porch and is reviewing the stats through 5 weeks all the while 11 other members look around at each other as if to say “why not one of us”? So the question stands… Why not you? See you in week 6!

Your President,

LF
