The PFVCC

Week 6 proved to be a bounce back week for most as there were wins-a-plenty to be had across the board. Just a week removed from the MIP chatter, it seems that a majority of membership locked in a little extra as to not poke the bear and keep the positive momentum going… at least for another week. NF, LF and MS set the precedent with 12 winners and are feeling quite good as they sit 1,2 and 3 on the leaderboard, respectively. Just a win shy of joining the top 3 were the four vets KS, MM, BS and CM who all know a thing or two about winning and showed that with 11 more added to their resumes. DP and SS round out our weekly notables as they notched 10 wins. A great showing by the top 9 this week, and at this point it’s safe to say that we are in for a great battle the rest of the way. With 4 games separating the aforementioned group the heat will be turned up as the season continues on into the middle weeks. We look forward to seeing how it unfolds!! That being said, a couple of gritty pickers sit on the outside looking in after these 6 weeks. Our rookie, DJ and the battle tested PM have taken their lumps early but refuse to be written off. As both of them scrape and claw to find their groove, it only takes a couple strong weeks to find themselves right back in the thick of the hunt. Still tons of football remains and with only 6 chapters written its still anyones game. Stay locked in everyone!

PM and DJ were our loners this week and both take tough losses at the hands of their picks in red. The effort is there and without the risk there is no reward!! Keep fighting my friends!

A third of the way through the season and so far it’s been a wild ride! Week 7 looks to bring more of the same...

Your President,

LF
