The cream begins to rise to the top in week 2

DP NF and SR find themselves floating on Swan Lake with 11 wins

Effective date: 2022-09-20
Recapping week 2 comes with much of the same from the opening week in that we still donโ€™t know who these teams are and how they will settle in. Sure, we have an idea of who โ€œshouldโ€ be good based on personnel and/or coaching and perhaps we can sniff out a team that will be thinking about where they want to vacation come early November, but get too comfortable and the results will find a way to humble you. That opener was for the the other 11 of us not named DP, NF and SR as they could not be slowed down in week two. Like ballet dancers playing hopscotch in a landmine field these three maneuvered the week with grace and poise posting 11-5 records to secure top honors. A performance by a trio that even Tchaikovsky would be proud of! LF, still only a soloist in his own right, brought in 10 wins which was enough to bow and receive a clap from the crowd. Looking forward to what the encore performances look like!

Equally impressive showings came from our loners on the board this week. At first glance it looked as if we had a single person log loners this week but after further evaluation management noticed an error on the pick sheet (The boys in IT are taking a look into this for us). BS in fact logged two himself leaving us with 5 games to note between him and DR. BS saw himself go 1/2 as NE took care of PIT but his LAC couldnโ€™t put the finishing touches on KC. So close to a clean sweep, but BS settles with a wash. DR doubles down on his loner strategy in week 2 and it worked out as he went 2/3. NYJ and DAL took it to their opponents and his pick of TEN over BUFโ€ฆ well lets just say well done on the other two. Well done gents!

Stick a fork in week 2 and start prepping for week 3. We should be in for another great one!

Your President,

LF
