The PFVCC

Week 12 was a week chalk full of amazing food shared with friends and family, giving thanks for all that is good, oh yeah…. And plenty of football! Our weekly leaders weren’t slowed by the tryptophan this year as the quartet of LF, SS, MS and KS were able to reel in 9 wins each. Most notably, LF who trailed SR by a game going into the week was able to leapfrog him into the top spot. Well played on the solid weeks to the aforementioned four and welcome to the penthouse LF (for now…). SR was on the other side of luck in week 12 as nothing seemed to bounce his way. Up to this point in the season SR has been a model of consistency and has showed the rest his picking prowess. He now sits outside the top spot for the first time this season, and if I could take a guess I don’t think he intends to be there long. For now, 5 members are vying for positioning. 5 vets to this picking game that know anything can change at the drop of a hat… especially during crunch time. There are 6 weeks left. It’s still anyone’s game. Stay tuned!

In loner news we had 4, yes 4, loners on display in week 12. BS started the week off with his secret loner (not bolded in red) of OAK aka LV over DAL was a very nice pick that panned out! MS and PM both were able to score on their loners as well with NYG and DEN winning both of their respective matchups. Well done to those 3 pickers! Unfortunately for DP he was the odd man out as his TEN pick couldn’t outlast the blistering NE squad. It was a valiant effort though! Three out of four loners by the field… not too shabby!

December football is upon us…Week 13 looms. Who can perform when the pressure mounts and the lights are the brightest? We will have to wait and see!
