The MIP taunts the field in week 9

SS leads the way with 9 wins

Effective date: 2021-11-10
Week 9 wasnโ€™t all that everyone had hoped for after a week 8 that challenged the picking field. In fact, week 9 was even more challenging, and if mentioning the MIP last week was just enough to stir the pot then I take full responsibility for egging it on. Week 9 stumped most, but even in a mippy week SS was able to wrangle in 9 wins to lead all pickers and with that, gain a game on the leaderboards. Slowly but surely SS has been chipping away at an 8 game deficit, and he now sits 5 back. Nice picking SS. SR, LF, KS, CM, MM and DP finished the week with 8 wins which is respectable considering the unpredictability weโ€™ve seen across the NFL. Way to fight gents. Call it a wash and we move on!

With 7 games on loner alert; week 8 gave us plenty to watch out for up and down the schedule. The 7 loners were picked between 3 pickers who were pushing their chips into the center of the table trying to score big on the field. The strategy was bold, and the results told the taleโ€ฆ

DP went 1/2 on his picks with NYJ losing to IND on TNF, but his NYG answered the call against LV. Not too shabby DP

LF also went 1/2, with ATL knocking off NO in a nail biter, and his MIN pick losing on the other side of a nail biter in OT to BAL. So close but no cigar.

DR had 3 loners on display and went 1/3 on those picks. DEN beat the brakes off of DAL but SF and CHI couldnโ€™t take out their respective opponents. Tough week on loners but DR is a fighter!!

With the MIP hopefully behind us, I sense a change in the tides. Hereโ€™s to some breakout performances in week 10!! Best of luck

Your President,

LF
