PM makes an appearance and shines with 11 wins

LF and BS follow with 10; the rest question the MIP?

Effective date: 2021-11-03
Week 8 brought us a Thursday night thriller, a handful of upsets that nipped many in the butt, and a performance by an unexpected PFVCC member. PM was that guy this last week as his 11 win week led all pickers to take top honors. All for the glory, PM scrapped his visitor team pick strategy and reminded everyone what heโ€™s capable of. In weeks where heโ€™s employed this strategy he holds a record of 21-10. Might be the secret sauce that he has been looking for all along... If so, the field should watch out.. Well done PM!! LF and BS followed up with 10 winners of their own, which in an average week for most, adds to the sweetness of a solid performance. As a whole, membership knows what could be looming after a week 8 that left most wantingโ€ฆ a phenomenon that feels like a curseโ€ฆ no one knows exactly why, when or for how long it will last. Most times it comes as fast as it goesโ€ฆ The Midseason Indifference Phenomenon. AKA The MIP. Did it come in week 8? or has it yet to rear its ugly head?... We will find out soon enough.

We had 3 loner picks on the boards which unfortunately left 3 members scratching their heads as to why they challenged the field. DP, DR and KS were those three. DP went with JAX who got tossed around by SEA. DR lost a close one behind his NYG team who couldnโ€™t hold down KC. And finally, KS lost an OT thriller behind his IND pick. Tough losses, but we salute the attempts!

Week 9 awaits.. The mid point of this PFVCC season.. are the tides changing? Letโ€™s find outโ€ฆ

Your President,

LF
