SR, LF & DP all with 11 wins
DR stutters; SR retains 4 game cushion
Effective date: 2021-10-20
Week 6 recognition goes to SR LF and DP who racked up 11 wins to lead all pickers. A nice week for those three and another โtough it outโ week for the rest. Now some food for thought as we are now officially a third of the way through. As Iโm sure youโve noticed, SR has been getting a lot of mention (well deserved, of course) as his hot picking rolls on. Trailing SR are LF, DR, MS, SS and KS who are all separated by just 5 games and are jockeying for position and waiting for their moment. The rest are looking to catch fire to hopefully tighten the gap and put some pressure on their fellow pickers above.. Now what do the statistics point to you might ask? Through week 6, SR is picking winners at a 73.4% clip and hasnโt wavered. An unprecedented start that has us all wondering, can he keep this pace up? In the last 10 years of the PFVCC the 1st place winners have posted an average win percentage of 67.4% with the highest being BS in 2017 at 70.7%. So if youโre feeling down on yourself to this point, time is on your side and we can't forget about the MIP.. Statistics indicate thereโs some light at the end of the tunnel, but SR doesnโt seem to care much for stats to this stage of the game so take that as you will.
In loner news for week 6 we had 5 red letter games to watch out for dispersed between DP, DR and MS. DP lead the way by going 2 for 2 on his attempts behind BAL and TEN. Well played DP!! DR and MS on the other side of things went 0/3 between them. DR lost with HOU and SEA and MS lost with NE in OT. Better luck next time gents but we appreciate your love for the dramatics!
โThe Endโ has been written on week 6, and I leave you with plenty to ponder. Week 7 offers another chance for glory. Best of luck to all!
Your President,LF
