The PFVCC

Week 5 produced a strong showing by PFVCC membership as 9 members were able to post double-digit wins next to their initials. Most notably were the 6-some of DR, LF, MS, SS, KS and CM who all tallied 13 wins a piece to push them up in the standings and get them feeling good about what’s to come… Well done to those mentioned. BS was right there with 12 winners of his own, and MM and SR rounded out the double digit win onslaught with 11. A big week for the field, as 7 members made positive ground on the leader SR, tightening the gap as if to say “hey, we told you not to forget about us”. A feel good week, but lots of work to be done for all as we enter into the heart of the NFL season. Make those picks wisely…

We had 4 loners on display in week 5, and unfortunately for the 4 risky pickers all ended in L’s. MM, DR, DP and MS.. mentioning the teams that let you down will just throw salt on the wound, so I will refrain. Instead we pour one out, rub some dirt on it and move forward.. Better luck next time gents.

A quick tip of the cap to SR as once again he makes headlines, this time for his outstanding career thus far as he joins the 5,000 win club. Well done and look forward to recognizing more milestones along the way!

Now entering week 6, we have NFL teams begin their bye weeks which means our weekly picking slate narrows. With each game mattering a little bit more, it gets a little more interesting.. Even after a lesser performance by his standards, SR still leads. Lets see who will own the middle third of the season... Best of luck my friends
