The PFVCC

Week 16 was judgement week here in the PFVCC. Only a few players were truly “in the hunt” to catch the leader SS and aside from KS gaining a game, none of the others (CM and MM) were able to piece together a real threatening performance **SS snickers in the background**. On that note we acknowledge our weekly leaders, KS and DR who lead the way with 11 wins a piece (very nicely done!!) and to follow were SS, CM, DP and BS all with 10. Solid performances in a tough slate of games gentlemen!! Now to look at the nitty gritty.. CM and SS “push” on their 2 differences which means CM needs to come up big in the final week to give himself a chance.. With KS’ performance here in week 16, he slides to within 5 games back and leaves himself a swingers chance with the bases juiced and 2 out in the bottom of the 9th and no time for small ball! MM just behind him at 6 out leaves himself with a wish and a prayer that maybe, just maybe SS is under the influence when he makes his picks.. One week left to play and SS sits in the captains chair with the trophy as his to lose, but as the saying goes, this thing ain’t over until the fat lady sings… We will see what happens when she’s singing next week!

Loner news focuses on 2 players in week 16 with both BS and SR picking 2 a piece. BS suffered defeat on both as DET and NE fell short of their tasks over the weekend. Sorry about it BS! SR went one for two as ATL took an L against the all mighty Chiefs, but CIN held up down the stretch against HOU. 50% in the loner game is not too shabby SR,nicely played!

Heading into the final week, the last hands have been dealt and all of the chips are pushed into the middle of the table.. Here comes the River..Happy New Year!
