The PFVCC

Week 7 was home to probably the best week that we’ve had so far this NFL season. We saw many tightly contested thrillers, yet another ATL collapse, a QB debacle in NE, and perhaps the greatest chase down tackle anyone has ever seen. Safe to say week 7 had a little bit of everything for us football heads to soak in. Our friend DP was the biggest fan of week 7 as it was very good to him- he saw 12 winners to take top honors and push him up a game on the leaderboards. Well done DP! Next up was, who else? MM, who never gets tired of reading about himself-he tallied 11 victories which was enough to pad his lead slightly. And finally, the consistent quartet of SS, CM, KS and BS notched 10 wins, which deserves some recognition. Well done to all our top performers and again congrats on the lead honors DP!

This week gifted us with 5 loner picks, but to the two that made them they were far from gifts at all as not 1 ended in a victory. DR is still licking his wounds on his 0/4 on the loner-boards as NYG, CAR, NYJ, and CHI couldn’t find any luck this week. What we learned from his example-never double down on the NY teams in 2020. We appreciate and recognize the courage DR! LF had the same luck as his JAX pick didn’t have enough in the tank against LAC. What we learned- JAX..not that good, period. Nice try LF.

7 weeks down and we are starting to see some separation in the standings. MM has put together a nice run, but title chaser SS is hot on his trail. CM, KS and DP are looming and BS, MS, LF, SR and DR all need to start making moves if they seek to be relevant down the stretch. Can this MM train continue? Who’s turn is it to make a run? Will the MIP hit soon? All are questions to be answered week 8 and beyond...
