The PFVCC

Week 6 has come and gone and left some members too hot to trot and other members searching within for the reason as to why they are doing this again… As a collective, not a single picker notched double digit victories this week, but that doesn’t mean that week 6 lacked PFVCC dramatics. Drama king MM found himself taking headlines once again as he tallied 9 wins and was able to recapture the thrown from SS who struggled mightily in week 6. BS and DP were able to finagle 8 wins a piece, good enough to gain them both 2 games in the standings and leave them feeling confident for a midseason push. Great piece of picking!! Just outside the top 2 are CM and KS who continue to hunt the leader with patience, lurking in the tall grass waiting for their time to pounce. Both are championship caliber competitors, and at just 3 games out it’s safe to say we should keep an eye on them…

Loners were given somewhat of a break this week as we were only gifted with 1 red-marked matchup. DR was the risky fellow who took HOU over TEN and too risky it proved to be as HOU couldn’t stave off a late run and OT drive by TEN. Valiant effort though, indeed DR!

Finally, when we see brilliance we recognize it. And brilliance is not a word that is thrown around loosely here in the PFVCC, but one that requires a certain level of success. A level of success that was reached by SR in week 6, as he became the 5th member to reach the 5k win club! Many congratulations to you SR!!

Now we are headed into the thick of things… The middle 3rd of the season awaits.. Time to lock in! Best of luck to all..

Still pimpin’,
