Is the MIP upon us? SR and DP donโt seem to think so
Effective date: 2019-10-16
By the headlines, one would think that members would be overall unhappy with their performances this past week, however if you took a peek at the standings you would see that the race only got tighter across the board. Some may point to the dreaded MIP, but due to the almost laughable performances by last weekโs top 2 (LF and MS) it caused many below to gain major ground. Of the 13 members that were trailing the top spot last week, 11 made positive ground, with some coming deep from the bottom of the pack to within striking distance. SR and DP shared top honors this week as they struck for 10 winners and gained a whopping 5 games on the leaderboards, well done fellas!! Honorable mentions must go to MM who had 9 Wโs, as well as SS, DR and CM who had 8 of their own. Notably, this week proved good enough for CM to force LF to share the throne, while most everyone else is just one good week away from causing havoc of their own. Great maneuvering of another weirdly tough week in football, gents!!
We had a perfect performance in the loner category in week 6, with DP hitting on both of his highlighted picks to round out his stellar week. He won with SF shocking LAR at home and with the short-manned PIT over LAC who also couldnโt protect their home field. Very nicely done DP!
Week 7 should be very telling of who is primed and ready to make their run in this middle 3rd of the NFL season. With all members within single digit games back of the top spot it is anyones to take. Will those faltering at the top continue their struggles and make way for others? Or is their a dark horse somewhere down below lurkingโฆ.waiting for their moment to close? This is where I leave you, until next week, pesky pickers. Best of luck!
Still Pimpinโ,
LF
