Flashback to Wednesday evening… You’re hunched over your computer, rifling through the NFL games slotted for week 4. You see a handful of matchups that look interesting, but nothing out of your pick’em wheelhouse, as you’ve been in this spot before. You make your TNF selection and maybe continue on to finish out the week because that’s your routine. Or maybe you come back Friday to put fresh eyes on your premature selections and make final submissions. Either way, you step away with confidence that this is, surely, your breakout week. The week you make your move and put yourself on notice…

If that was you last week, then it most certainly was not your breakout week. Of the 12 members that made their selections, no one had double-digit victories. Despite the MIP-like showing, CM and MS were able to make up some positive ground on the leaderboards as they pulled down 9 wins a piece. Way to salvage a tough week gents! On the other side of the spectrum, those individuals that were fortunate enough to forget to login this week enjoyed blistering performances by the visitors as 11 out of 15 games went their way. Chalk up another strange week in football to round out the first month.

Among the pandemonium that was week 4, we saw our first successful loner picks of the season with LF taking PHI over GB and CM winning with NO over DAL. Gutsy calls and big wins by both, Congrats! MM wasn’t so lucky as his pick WAS got routed by NYG. Tough take and a tough week for MM, next week will be better!

With much to be forgotten we head onto week 5. Better luck to all this week!
