The PFVCC

Backup quarterbacks played spoil to some this week, as many of their report cards now read “exceeding expectations” after their most recent performances. It was just last week where we were left to wonder what teams could be behind their new QBs and although we are looking at an extremely small sample size here, its important to keep tabs on moving forward (and let’s be honest, it makes for amazingly unpredictable football which adds to the pick’em tension). In week 3 there were 8 backup QBs on display (I’m including Brisset of IND in this) and they went a combined 5-3 with a total of 1760 passing yards, 14 TDs and just 2 INTs.. Beginners luck or not, don’t write them off just yet..

As for our weekly watchables, LF and DP get the nod this week as they both landed 12 wins, while BS, MM, DR and PM slid in with very solid weeks of their own with 11 wins to boot. With LF’s performance (and help from a JP scuffle) he jumps into the top spot with the field not far behind breathing down his neck, don’t get too comfortable young buck!

We had 2 loners highlighted this week which left 2 members disappointed when it was all said and done. NF took PIT who couldn’t mount a final drive against SF and JP swung and missed taking CLE who has fallen well short of all expectations so far in this 2019-2020 campaign. What can brown do for you? Absolutely nothing thus far..
