The PFVCC

Week 7 proved to be an enjoyable one for most as 8 members were able to notch double digit wins and no one dipped below the .500 mark for the first time in a given week this season. Leading the charge with 12 wins a piece were MM and CM, who both saw themselves making moves on the leaderboards this week. Most noteworthy was MM who was able to leapfrog his way into 2nd behind his strong performance. Who knows…if MM can string together a few more weeks like this down the stretch we could see a repeat of the Miracle on Maryknoll. Rounding out the rest of the week’s strong showings were BS and SS with 11 wins, and KS, MS, JP and DP with 10. Nice picking to all those mentioned!

We had 3 gutsy members shoot for the stars with their loner efforts but not one underdog could come through for them. NF took the best shot with CHI losing a shootout with NE, while PM, who took CIN over KC, and LF, with SF over LAR, watched their contests get out of hand early not even giving them an opportunity to flirt with the idea of possible loner bragging rights. Better luck next time young bucks!

With 10 weeks remaining, we shift our focus to Week 8 where the stakes continue to stay high as members battle to stay relevant. Football a plenty to be had and picks to be made and to that I say, on to the next one…Friendly reminder to those dedicated to NFL Sunday mornings in front of the TV, the first game will air at 6:30AM Pacific Standard Time as PHI takes on JAX, so don’t forget to set those alarms!

Couldn’t leave you all without first tipping a cap to our brothers who also play a fine sport upon a grass field. The Fall Classic starts tonight and, because I can…..Let’s Go Dodgers!!!

Happy Picking,

LF, The Pimp
