The staff at HQ hopes everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed your family time. While Santa was prepping for a big night, double checking his naughty and nice list, BS and SS for a second straight week checked their lists (pick books) and found themselves GOO-less. So it comes down to the final week 17 to see if BS wins his fifth championship, tying DR for the second most championships, or will SS have a Christmas miracle and pick his way to his ninth championship.

What strategies will be employed by BS to secure his top spot. Will he take a conservative picking approach akin to a prevent defense? Will SS settle for the prized Pen and Pencil set or look for that one difference to force a playoff or will SS go for the win risking losing ground CM and KS?

Week 16 produced great picking results. BD lead the way with 14 winners including a SEAT Loner pick. Thirteen game winners included BS, SS, KS and LF. Eleven game winners were MM and MS. Even though it appears they are out of the running, their true champion spirit, is shining through picking the final games of the year.DP picked 10 winners but impressively pick CIN for the membership's sixth loner pick of the year.

The final week is upon us. Check the website next Sunday evening to see the final week results and see if a new champion is crowned. A reminder, member picks are not revealed in the last week until the final results have been audited, verified and posted Sunday evening.
