It's a Tie!
A Tight Season Just Wasn’t Ready to End
Effective date: 2017-01-01
KS and SR have been battling neck and neck for weeks, as regularly noted in these recaps. KS has been in the penthouse since Week 9, when he was tied with LF. Beginning in Week 10, KS has been by himself on top, picking winners and keeping the would be usurpers at bay. SR has been only one game back from KS since Week 14 and finally had the break he needed, picking up a game on KS in Week 17 to force a tie. Wow!
The last time there was a regular season tie in the PFVCC was the 2001 Season, in which MM, SS, and BS all tied. MM ended up taking the title that year after besting his opponents in the Post Season finale, as laid out in the membership manual. What, exactly, does that rule state? Thanks for asking!
Each member that is tied for first place will enter his picks for the upcoming playoff games. The first winner of any game in which the members differ, will be considered the winner and awarded the coveted (and for some, elusive) PFVCC Championship.
KS and SR: well fought and congratulations on making it this far. You’ll receive instructions from me on making your picks for the upcoming playoff games, once the boys in IT have been consulted.
