MS Shines in Week 15; Moves Within Striking Distance

Have the Top Three Emerged for the Final Push?

Effective date: 2016-12-22
MS came to dominate during Week 15. Fun fact: MS was the only player to pick up games on KS in Week 15. You may recall the ridiculous amount of GOO present in Week 14, which SR used to swiftly climb through the rankings. Well, in Week 15 there wasnโ€™t nearly as much GOO, however, MS capitalized on every last bit of it. KS and SR made identical picks in Week 15, and had a GOO of 2 with MS (JP and BS made those same picks tooโ€”Iโ€™m lumping us in to celebrate the fact that weโ€™re somewhat relevant.) MS picked up both games, both of which were impressive: IND over MIN and NO or ARZ. Itโ€™s notable that MS was only one of two pickers to correctly choose these winners, which was the case in both games.

With those two very big wins, MS moved into third place all by himself; only three games out from the penthouse. With two weeks left, there is plenty of opportunity to make a run for top dog (and father) KS. Other movement in the top half of the standings included players either holding steady or stumbling one or more positions.

It appears that three contenders have emerged. KS and SR have both been models of consistency. MS has yoyoโ€™d a bit, and finds himself entering the final push with the one thing everyone wants: momentum. Enjoy Football Saturday this week and Merry Christmas to everyone!

Happy Picking.
