Bravo to our new president. His opening letter was inspiring and sets the tone for the upcoming year. I think we will have a season full of great weekly narratives.

Another exciting, fun season of PFVCC from the east coaster. It was a respectable finish (isn't that what losers say?),JP didn't better me and I actually got to meet the 2013 PFVCC Champion, MM and several other initials I can't recall (apologies). Super excited to return this summer for the arrival of our next grandchild and for future gatherings. All the best to fellow PFVCCers.

A few games have me scratching my head. What to do with the return of A. Rodgers. Why has MIN always let me down? Could Arizona upset SFO? I will most likely change my picks all the way up to the cutoff. But I am shooting for a perfect performance. Wouldn't that be a dandy!

BS, nifty picking and you are in a great position but I am counting on a 1998 JB-like comeback where he won five goo's in the last week to steal the championship.

BS, wire to wire if you exclude week 1. I'm working hard with the pickmiser to develop some surprising picks. Don't get nervous, don't over think your picks, don't second guess yourself--you only have the championship on the line! Good luck...

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: I agree that the "safe" play would have been to go for INDY at home but I can't close this hole I have put myself in without taking some chances. You have to admit, I nearly pulled out the upset. My determination to finish strong comes from some amazing and recent come from behind finishes by other players. What will happen? Let's wait and see.

This has nothing to do with the PFVCC, but have you ever seen a day with such competitive and unexpected results, ending with Auburn upsetting Alabama. Was hard to leave the TV. Happy watching tomorrow.

Statistics fellow on line again. If I have counted right, there are 5 different picks between BS and DP with DP 4 back.This week could have a seismic shift, or not. :)
