The PFVCC

The Championship Trophy is now being engraved with KS's initials.

What a fight!!!...Congrats!!

Thank you SS. I intend to further the integrity and popularity of the PFVCC during all upcoming local and network sports talk interviews.

Congrats KS from everyone at HQ. SR a great battle and don't be disappointed as you are the sole winner of the prized Personalized Pen and Pencil Set. KS's first championship since 2003 but remember KS took a hiatus and this marks a championship within five years of rejoining the membership. Our president said it best in his final message of the year so no need to elaborate. See everyone at the Pig Dinner.

Round two playoff picks in

Nailbiter............reminds me of the Miracle on Maryknoll.

So either I'm not the champ or we're playing into the second round of playoffs??? Update?

Round One Playoff Picks are logged in for SR and KS. Good luck gentlemen.

Picks just in to the recorded line.

SR and KS, please review your email accounts for Round 1 Playoff instructions.

Congrats to KS and SR. Picks will be due Friday night per the rule. A schedule is being prepared now for your review. Another very exciting year!

Although there wasn't room for it in the recap, big shout outs to LF and KB for their Week 17 performances. LF went 14-2 and KB, who played despite being DQ'd went 15-1. Nicely done, gentlemen!

When are picks due?

Addendum to my posting.......I meant it to be SR and/or MS.........the Young Turks. Love to see one of those two on the dais accepting the trophy.

I have to admit......Love ya'll......but I am pulling for MS for the Brass Ring. I couldn't pull it off even cheating. Don't ask.....I am so ashamed. Go MS!!!

Welp, assuming the standing are correct this final week should be, um, nerve wracking.

Going for it! Goo's a plenty. Hope the research team earned their Christmas bonus.

MS making a strong stretch drive move. 14-1 going into MNF. Very impressive. Wish we could have added you to the Perfect Performance plaque.

KS will hold serve with SR for the week but KS and LF have two afternoon differences that could squeeze the standings!

Critical week!

KS, love your research. I can't imagine what I was thinking in week 8-- that I would have selected CLE, except they were playing the second worst team NYJ in CLE. 0-1 with CLE this year. I hope I don't lose the race by one game!

I don't pretend to know as much as the boys down in research, but I thought I would take time to look at some stats that are painstakingly updated by the boys in IT. I'm talking about the Picks By Team stats. It turns out that among our current players the worst performing picks by each player are among a narrow band of teams. Just six teams. Of our current players Clev has delivered the most misery for 6 of us (CM,DR,JR,LF,MM,SS). Jacksonville follows with 3 players wishing they had a do over (DP,DR,JP).The LAR and Detroit follow with 2 (BD,MS)(KS,SR) and Chicago and Oakland with 1 (NF)(KB).

Holy GOO Batman, this week you have 13 differences among your top 4 rivals!!!

On this date three years ago, JD wrote,"This has nothing to do with the PFVCC, but have you ever seen a day with such competitive and unexpected results, ending with Auburn upsetting Alabama. Was hard to leave the TV. Happy watching tomorrow."

ME: Hello? Locksmith company? Locksmith Company: Yes, hello. ME: I have potential intruders who may be trying to seize my penthouse. I need another lock. Locksmith Company: A lock you say? Ok, I think I would take NE this week. ME: Thanks for nothing. They are just outside the door.
