The PFVCC

Week 16 marks the start of the final stretch drive of the football season. As we gear up for Holiday functions, gift wrapping and delivering Christmas cheer the PFVCC race brings a different type of stress to the fold. For members in the hunt its not all about whether or not little Johnny will like his gift or if the Christmas roast turns out okay, its about wins and finishing the year strong to grab a spot on the podium… DP knows this stress and showed that he’s poised to deliver under pressure as his 12 wins led all pickers and brought him 3 games closer in the standings. Once 12 games back, he has shaved the deficit in half and has himself believing in Christmas miracles. Just behind him was NF who in past years has been on the outside looking in and felt “Grinchy” around this time, but has found that his heart has grown 3 sizes and is just 5 games back after his 11 win performance. Well played by these two as they have put the rest of the league on notice as initials to watch in the final two weeks. SS, after an okay week by his standards, will have the Penthouse to himself this Christmas as he clings to a one game lead. CM and KS switched spots on the leaderboard after CM’s tough week and KS once again finds himself one game back, prepping his beat up roller bag for a return to the Penthouse. With 6 members all with a shot at the perpetual trophy the final two weeks should deliver plenty of drama…
