The PFVCC

Week 11 was another battle as membership begins to stare down the all important stretch drive of the season. In a season that has brought its fair share of twists and turns, the last 3 weeks have been a launch point for one member in particular. That member is LF, who since week 8 has went 36-7, taken the penthouse keys and built himself a 3 game cushion along the way. Week 11 saw him bring in 12 wins and now he sits in the driver seat with 7 to play. A nice three week set, but if he wants to avoid the season taking another turn on him he knows he must continue to keep his foot on the gas. BS and KS had impressive weeks of their own as they were able to bring in 11 wins a piece to keep things close and build confidence in their picking strategies. BS now sits in 2nd along with SS who has battled a tough stretch but has taken to the message board to put the “no more Mr. Nice Guy” on notice. He, DP and MS shared in the 10 win grouping which deserves notice, but each look to build on that heading into week 12. Lots of story lines are beginning to take shape as the season heads toward “crunch time”. With a handful of members within striking distance of the streaking LF and another sprinkle of outside hopefuls the task remains the same for everyone. Rack up the wins and make your move.

The two brothers LF and NF took to the loner board for their chance at bragging rights. LF was the triumphant one as his pick of PIT gave him the edge. NF, with the backing of the rest of membership, unfortunately fell short with CHI but a salute is still in order. Battle of the brothers ends, LF-1, NF-0.

Now onward to the next challenge.. Which members will rise to the occasion and which members will fall? Week 12 will be first in line to answer.

Your President,

LF
