The PFVCC

Football is back, and week 1 did not disappoint. From the opener on Thursday night to the finale on Monday, week 1 was loaded with great games up and down the board to give us a small taste of what we are in for this season. Week 1 is usually a feel it out week for membership as the unknown looms large coming out of the offseason. That being said, membership as a whole looked to be in mid season form as big weeks were spotted up and down the leaderboard. None bigger than BS and CM who charged out of the gates strong and posted 14 wins to put the pressure on early. Just a couple of savvy vets that know how important a good start is to get the confidence going. Phenomenal picking gents! SS also impressed as he settled just behind the leaders with his 13 winners and the 12 win five some of KB, KS, LF, MM and MS round out the weekly notables. A great showing by membership overall and one that sets the expectations high as we look forward to week 2 and beyond. What a season we have in store!

Week 1 loner news was not as positive as 3 loner picks were made between LF and PM and none of them were hits. LF went with TEN but CHI answered the call down the stretch. PM got bold with ARZ over BUF and LAR over DET, both solid takes but in the end PM had nothing to show for it. We respect the effort you two, but we are still in search of our first lone victor.

Week 1 complete and a season left for us to tackle, let’s keep the momentum going in week 2!

Your President,

LF
