Week 14 was another week that had most members searching for answers. In a season that has seemed to be the most unpredictable to date, the mystery continued on. With good teams underachieving and bad teams overachieving, it has created the perfect storm for folks like us attempting to pick winners week to week. MS handled his business this week as he lead the way with 10 wins, which was two better than the next. A gutsy performance by someone who looks to ride this hot streak. Great picking indeed, MS! LF, DP, BS and DR were next best with 8 wins a piece. Of the four, the 8 win week meant the most to LF who was able to capitalize in his games of opportunity and now finds himself with a 5 game lead with 4 to go. Nothing is a certainty here in this NFL season, but rumor has it that LF would like to have this thing wrapped up by Christmas. A pun that has membership motivated to make something happen down the stretch. Will a 5 game lead with 4 to go be enough for LF to secure his second title, or will he get too big for his britches and crumble when the pressure is highest? Only time will tell.

Loner news in week 14 went something like this. SR took two swings at glory and swung and missed at both his NYJ and CLE picks. An unfortunate outcome but one that earns a nod for the effort. NF and MS, were on the other side of luck this week as they both were able to knock down their loners. NF took a shot with JAX and they did not disappoint, while MS earned his stripes with his CAR pick over SEA. Great picking by two young guns carving out their own space in loner history. Congrats!
