The PFVCC

Another week is in the books as the 12th installment of the season was another tightly contested one up top. SS, who seems to have been saving his best for the stretch drive, put together a dazzling week as he went 13-3 to lead all pickers. A very “SS like” performance at just the right time, well done sir! Next in line were the 12 win trio of NF, CM and MM as they kept their foots on the gas and were rewarded for it in the standings. With LF only able to bring in 11 wins on the week, the 4 aforementioned members were able to gain some positive ground to tighten the race at the top and keep the pressure on. Like heavyweights trading body blows, this point of the fight is about stamina and positioning for the final rounds approaching. With 6 weeks to go and only 6 games separating the top 7 members, we are set up for a wildly entertaining stretch drive!

Week 12, while delivering some great football, was also headlined by two loner picks. The first being the Thanksgiving Day hopeful MS who went with NYG but was greatly disappointed as they were outmatched by DAL. Unfortunate but a respectable attempt, MS! Our second loner came from none other than SS, who was rewarded for his aggressiveness as his CLE pick was able to knock off Tom Brady and TB in OT. For those of you keeping track at home (or just paying attention to our loner pick tab) SS has been perfect in his loner attempts which have come in back to back weeks. A coincidence? I think not... Keep an eye on this one! Congrats on the success SS!

We move on to week 13 which means December football! With some big time matchups on the schedule upcoming, we will see who will rise to the occasion. Best of luck to all.

Your President,

LF
