The PFVCC

3 weeks in and the NFL has been all that we’ve hoped for to this point. We’ve gotten a little of everything…We’ve gotten star studded matchups that could go either way, we’ve had nail biting upsets, we’ve had older quarterbacks continue to prove they have gas in the tank as well as rookie QBs trying to prove they belong, we’ve had final drives that flip the outcome in the final seconds and we’ve had some teams just straight underperform (much to our dismay). All of these things are what make this game so fun to watch, but also what makes us grow grey hair through each picking week. DR didn’t have to reach for the “just for men” after his 13 win picking onslaught this week. A well deserved nod as DR gains a game and sits a game back of the top spot. SR had a 12 win week making him the only player to open the first 3 weeks with double digit wins this season. Consistency pays! LF and KS also had 12 winners to keep their positions with the leader as everyone still tries to find their groove. Lots of season ahead, and many more storylines to follow!

The loner storyline rolls on as we had 5 loners all in the same household as NF showed off 4 more loner picks and BS took his shot at one… BS tried his luck with the TNF game but fell short as HOU couldn’t take out CAR. NF had his heart broken as he went 0/4 on his attempts with CHI, JAX, IND, and DET all losing their respective matchups. None more painful than DET’s as a record breaking long FG bounced off the crossbar and in, shattering his hope to scrape at least one out. Times were tough under that roof this weekend… Sorry gents.

The season rolls on… Week 4 here we come.

Your President,

LF
