With the much anticipated start to the 2020 NFL season in the books, we realize how much we needed it back in our lives. It wasn’t the prettiest showing, but rust is to be expected of teams that haven’t played competitively since the end of last season. Rust apparently isn’t in DR’s vocabulary because he showed no signs of it in the opening week as he posted 13 winners to take top honors. Well played DR!! Just behind DR were the reigning champ CM, and DP who knocked down 12 wins a piece, followed by a championship thirsty MS and his 11 win week. Great job to the aforementioned few who were able to maneuver an unprecedented week 1 in football!

This edition of loner news included a trio of members fit to get off the snide with a bang in 2020. However, only one bang was heard and that was from DR who successfully took ARZ over the 49ers. Hot start for DR on all accounts! Nice picking sir! LF failed on his pick of TB as NO crushed Tom Brady’s dreams of a perfect season with a new team. MM’s ATL pick suffered the same fate as SEA won that battle of the birds. We commend the efforts gents!

MM did have something to celebrate though as he was welcomed with open arms to the 4,000 win club following his performance in week 1. Congrats on a great career thus far and here’s to 4,000 more wins to come!
