Finishes strong, leaves no doubt this was HIS year
Effective date: 2019-12-30
Congratulations to CM for an amazing 2019 PFVCC campaign which has ended the way he planned it from the opening kickoff. He now hoists the trophy for the first time since 2014 and the 3rd time in his career so I’m sure this one hits home in a different way. His second half performance will go down as one of the better closing acts we’ve seen, especially considering that he got out of the gates at a relatively average pace…lulling the competition to sleep like the tricky son of gun that he is. From week 10 and on CM posted a blistering 71% winning percentage which proved to be insurmountable and he never looked back, nor did he have to. To cap off his Championship performance he took weekly honors with 12 winners, just for good measure. Truly a masterful performance by one of this leagues great pickers and one that puts him on the board as a 3-time champ, which is no small feat considering the competition that this league brings to the table year in and year out. Well done CM and enjoy the next year of bragging rights!
To round out the end of the season recognition LF finishes second and will be awarded the pen and pencil set which will bring up conversations of how he was good this year but only good enough to be second best. MS finished up just behind him in the 3rd spot and will receive a “good game” pat on the back to motivate him to come back with a vengeance in 2020! Nonetheless, well done to you both!
That wraps up our 39th installment of PFVCC greatness and just want to thank all of the participants for a great season. Hope everyone had a good time competing and hope to see you at the annual Pig Dinner to celebrate our Champ CM! For the final time in 2019 I bid thee farewell and Happy New Year!
Until next season,
Still Pimpin’, LF
