The PFVCC

Merry Christmas and welcome to the Holiday edition PFVCC faithful! Here we sit on Christmas Day, enjoying family and the happiness that comes with the season..however for most of us, thoughts still swirl in the back of our minds about how we underperformed and how so many teams and/or analysts let us down. On the other side of things JP pulled out a very strong performance with 14 wins which was good enough to lead all pickers and push him within striking distance of 3rd place, nice picking JP! BS, KS and LF followed with 12 wins each which kept things rather quiet near the top, but SS, who shared the second spot just a week ago, dropped 3 games on his 2nd place running-mate KS and now finds himself in sole possession of 3rd. At this stage of the game it looks to be BS’ crown to lose, but we await the final weeks’ results to unveil a Champ, and until then our own speculation is what we are left with.

Loner picks were the talk of the town in week 16 as we had 6 contests where loners were taken. We begin with BD who pushed her luck with DET and fell short to MIN. MM shared the same fate by trying his hand at SF over CHI, however we recognize both pickers for their efforts! SS posted 3 loners in week 16 in an attempt to make up major ground on the leader, however he ended up going 1-2 in those games, which wasn’t how he drew it up, but overall wasn’t too shabby. Lastly, we recognize JP who took the loner spotlight by winning his sole loner pick with SEA over KC. In the end we congratulate SS and JP on their loner victories this week! Nice job Gents!

The final week lingers on the horizon..Will BS make the headlines for the right reasons? Or for the wrong ones?..The final chapter remains unwritten..

Happy Picking,

LF, The Pimp
