Let’s get caught up. At the end of Week 10, BS had a two game, five game and seven game lead on LF, SS and MM respectively. In Week 11, MM, applies heat to the group with an impressive 12-2 week moving him into a third place tie with SS. BS and LF play cat and mouse each picking 10 winners.

Week 12, Thanksgiving week, provides one of the best membership winning weeks this year. BD, BS, CM, MM, MS (TTFFSU) and SS all pick 13 winners. Every member picking that week posted double-digit wins. BS’s 13 wins provided a little breathing room from the pack as he increased his lead to 3 games on LF while MM and SS are in a tug-a-war for third place out by 5 games. During this time frame six loner picks were attempted with zero winners. A total of four successful loners this year—3 by BS and one for LF. Notable milestones during this period included BD winning game number 1,740 placing her 4th on the all-time winning percentage, DP Winning number 930, LF – 1,900, MS – 1,720, SR- 4,630, JP-907. Congratulations to these members.

This Week 13 was not unlucky for SS (disclosure – I am writing this missive) as he amazingly picked up four games in the standings and trails BS by one game. SS’s 13 wins, was accomplished with some of the most scrappy picking the membership has ever seen in the rich PFVCC history covering over 100,000 member picks. SS had 12 combined differences with BS, LF, and MM going into the week. SS wins 11 of the twelve, only losing to a game winning field goal by SF over Chi. Congrats to MM on that pick! With those 11 difference winners, SS catapults to second place one game behind BS and a 2 game lead over MM and LF. With the stretch drive upon us the race is on.
