After weeks of grinding and sticking to his guns, DP has taken the top spot away from BD with only three weeks left in the season. With 11 winners this week, DP was one of the top pickers. SS tied DP with 11 winners of his own and moved into a tie for second place with BD. With a successful Loner Pick of the Redskins over the Bears, BS is alone at three games back, and has solidified his moxie and sticking power. Or, should we say stalking power, as BS has been pacing in the tall grass waiting for his moment to strike for the past 10 weeks. Will DP ride his own momentum and continue his trajectory all the way to greatness? Will SS and BS, who have hefted the Champion’s Trophy a combined 12 times, turn up the heat and sweat DP out? Or, has the fire been lit under BD’s toes, giving her every reason to Rocky Balboa the rest of the season? Queue the music!

Now that you’re humming the Rocky theme song (you’re welcome), let’s see what else happened this week. Although JR triggered HTP ineligibility several weeks ago, he continues to pick, and pick well. Typically, someone out of contention would not make the write up, yet his 13 winners this week have earned a well deserved shout out. Of those still in contention, LF lead all members with 12 winners this week and has moved himself up to only four games out. With three weeks left, LF might be telling us that he’s our unforeseen dark horse!

The gauntlet has been laid down. DP has finally attained the top spot, yet he is surrounded by seasoned veterans. It’s going to be an absolute sprint to the finish line!
