SS Takes Week 1 with Two Loners and a Perfect Monday
Membership has a strong week one showing, and the race is on!

After three seasons of watching his peers hoist the Winner’s Trophy each summer, SS has seemingly decided that this season he will avenge his legacy like Tony Stark. SS was nothing short of “on point” over the weekend, and was two for two with loner picks, as he went on to pick 13-3 in Week 1. Well played! With his remarkable picks of the Rams over the Seahawks and the Falcons over the Eagles, only time will tell if it is purely talent, or if he somehow acquired the 2000-2050 Grays Sports Almanac (Google it if you don’t get the reference). We’ll have to check with the boy’s in research to see if there has ever been two Loner Picks in Week 1.
We had several other notable performances this week. Finishing the week tied for second were BD, CM, DP, and JR, who all finished the week at an impressive 12-4. DP and JR were heading into Monday with the strongest Sunday showings; alas, both went ohfer on Monday night. Similar to her exceptional start to the 2014 Season, BD is back on her grind, looking to bring the Winner’s Trophy down to the Sunshine State. CM, our 2014 Champion, is continuing his consistently strong picking as he rides his own coattails from last season.
With 72% of members picking in the double digits, it was a strong showing for membership in Week 1. Things are just heating up, and with several weeks until the Bye Weeks, it’ll be a race to the top as membership will attempt to rack up the early season wins.
