LF Wins the Week – Gobbles Up 14 Wins
BS Holds Serve
Effective date: 2013-12-02
LF’s 14 wins is enough to move out of the basement leaving the light on for rookie JR to move into and call home. LF, the defending champ, playing with the pride of a champion posts the most wins in any week by any member in 2013. LF has a history for big finishes as we recollect his amazing finish last year. At the end of Week 13 2012, LF was out by 8 games and finished the year going 51-13 with a three game spread over KS to win the PFVCC Championship. Could LF have been toying with us for the first 13 weeks in 2013?
BS and SS each pick 13 winners and had no differences so no opportunity for movement for SS. SS remains two games back. SS over the last three weeks leads the membership with 33 wins. KS picks 13 winners and wonders what it takes to gain any ground. KS must be spanking himself for his unsuccessful Loner Pick attempt of TEN over IND. The safe pick would be IND at home. KS has never played a conventional game which makes him a shrewd competitor. MM picking unusually well strung together 13 wins this week and has the second most wins over the last three weeks with 30 wins and is tied for the membership lead with 10 Monday Night wins. MM is picking his heart out to stay in the race.
It seems the “Stretch Drive” (Weeks 14-17) is setting up BS, SS, JP, KS and DR to fight it out for the top spot while CM and DP try to remain in the game out by seven games with four weeks left in the season.
Editor’s correction to last week’s milestone comments. It was incorrectly reported that BS, DR and SR were celebrating their 30th year in 2013 when in fact they are celebrating 31 years. Members celebrating 20 years this year include MM and JD. KS with his 13 wins this week picked lifetime win number 4,100 placing him fourth on the all-time win list.
