DP Picks 10 Winners โ€“ Making Move to the Top Spot

Effective date: 2013-11-11
DP exploded the GOO (Games of Opportunity) table with what appeared to be desperate moves to get back into contention. DPโ€™s picks proved havoc with Consensus Picks resulting in only two games the membership agreed on (game #137 and 140) in Week 10. DP's picks turned out to be wily and shrewd highlighted by his Loner Pick of CAR over SF played in SF. DP moved from 12th position to seventh this week. One week doesnโ€™t make a season but it may be the launching point for a big season ending run for the top spot.

DR who always seems to be lurking around corners has been edging his way to the top. His nine wins moves him up in the standings and trails BS by two games. Second on the all-time PFVCC Championship list with 5 โ€œDRโ€ engravings on the Perpetual Trophy, he is quite familiar with the rigors of a year end run.

CM and KS started the week in second position out by three games but each turned season low performances and dropped to fourth and fifth position respectively. If you thought Week 9 was tough, Week 10 turned out to be tougher as the membership averaged only 6.6 wins each excluding DP extraordinary performance.

JP continues his hot streak with 9 wins and leads the membership in wins over the last four weeks. His 38 wins during that period is three better than the next member. JPโ€™s 38-17 record, a .691 winning percentage over the last four weeks, has propelled himself to a second place tie with the Lurker (DR) out by two games.

In the battle for supremacy in Florida, JD picks six winners but BD picks only five winners and loses ground to her roommate.

In the milestone department, SS breaks even for the week at 7-7 but the seven wins were enough to move past the 4,900 career wins โ€“first on the all-time win list. MM, our 2001 PFVCC Champion won his 3,005 career game and currently places 8th on the all-time win list.

Hope Week 11 goes better for the group.
