Remembering TB (Tim Bornheimer)
BS Has Another Strong Week; LF Tight on His Heels
Effective date: 2017-10-31
It is with heavy hearts that we at the PFVCC HQ share the unfortunate news of the passing of our very own Tim Bornheimer; better known as TB around these parts. As a community, we pass our sincere condolences to KB, Shannon and the rest of the Bornheimers during this difficult time. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Let's take a quick look at TB's PFVCC accomplishments! TB joined our storied ranks in 2008 and quickly established he was in it for the real thing. TB was our champion in 2009, a mere one year into his tenure! In his eight years in our league (2008 - 2015) TB racked up 1284 wins, which has him currently sitting in the number 15 slot on the all-time wins list. TB, you will be greatly missed, and thank you so much for being a historic member of our league!
Lets quickly touch upon week 8. BS continues to deliver, posting an impressive 11 winners this week. The community as a whole did far better this week than previous weeks, with the majority of membership picking in the double digits. LF was the top picker this week, pulling in 12 winners. Excellent picking LF! LF picked up a game on BS this week and has pulled to within one win of a jaunt at the penthouse. Flying under the radar, SS has quietly moved back into third place at just three games back from the top. SS had a very strong start to the season, so will we see some changing tides as we move into the second half of the season? We'll see!
Happy Picking.
