The PFVCC

While it may have taken two tie breakers to reach our conclusion, KS continued the trend of the last half of the season and held off SR for this truly spectacular victory. Congratulations KS! Well done, sir! As mentioned, this will be KS's fourth time hoisting the Winner's Trophy, which puts him in a tie with BS for third place all time for the most PFVCC Championships (DR is in second place with 5 and SS is comfortably in the lead with 8, in case you didn't know). It was a long, hard battle for SR and he stayed on KS like white on rice for many weeks. Very well done, SR! SR may have impeded on the penthouse in the final week of the season, but KS made sure it was just a visit.

When I spoke with KS, he was honored and excited about his momentous victory! It truly was a family affair, with Kathy and MS hooting and hollaring in the background, and Ellie even joining in with a bark or two. KS's gratitude and joy were the perfect reminder of how important the PFVCC is to all mankind.

For those of you who are interested [read: everyone] the nailbiter victory by the Steelers is what sealed KS's victory. KS and SR both picked ATL, NE, and DAL and they split of PIT/KC. A very fitting ending to an extremely closely fought season!

Well, the boys in scheduling have been champing at the bit for these past two weeks to begin preparations for Season 37. And now their work begins. Stay tuned, PFVCC faithful.
