LF and KS Pushing Each Other Around

LF Wins Week with Eight Wins!

Effective date: 2016-11-01
Simon and Garfunkel can sing to some of the membership this year, that, the 2016 Championship is Slip Slidinโ€™ Away.

KS and LF battled out three differences with LF winning two and pushing KS into second place one game out . KS survived a possible LF sweep with a gutty DAL come from behind OT win. A mediocre performance by the membership with six members getting 8 picks correct, four โ€“ 7 winners, a six and a five and a few fours. One member at a recent gala event told this reporter he was feeling he had lost some drive and was in a funk with his picking. This reporter with the memberโ€™s feelings in mind told him to โ€œfigure it out and stop whiningโ€โ€”I think that was good advice.

At the half way mark it seems that LF, KS, MS, and SR are in the best position to make a run for the Perpetual Trophy, with SS, BS, JP and BD looking for a November surprise. Last yearโ€™s champ DP having Champions Regression Syndrome or CRS is trying to find his way back into the hunt.

Has anyone seen JR? Is he testing the visitor pick rule? Through Week eight the visitor team default pick gets a 49-69-2 record. Last yearโ€™s home team default pick would give a member a 69-49-2 record this year---a full 20 game difference. JR would be in fifth place 5 games out, instead, he finds himself in 15th place 25 games out. What a difference. I hope JR knows the default pick rule changed.

OK, Iโ€™ll say it againโ€ฆ.Game Thursday.

Yours in football,
SS
