KS is Off to the Races with a Strong Week 1 Showing
PFVCC Faithful Pick Well to Kick Off Season 36
Effective date: 2016-09-14
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back! It’s Season 36 of the PFVCC and it feels like we never left! It truly is the best time of the year now that the NFL is back in season. We here at the PFVCC are thrilled to have a line up of 15 worthy contenders vying for the Winners Trophy, which currently resides (in spirit) on Carson Drive in Oswego, NY on the mantle place of DP. Will DP join the elite group of competitors to win in back to back seasons? I don’t know guys, it’s only Week 1.
To the action! KS was top dog this week, racking up an impressive 13 winners to sit himself alone at the top after Week 1. KS cemented his victory on a botched attempt at a game winning field goal during the Cardinals vs Patriots. A Tom Brady-less New England team stuck it out and pulled it off, which gave KS the headwind he needed to jump in front. Nipping at his nimble heals are JP, MS and SS, who all tallied 12 winners in Week 1. SS finished in second place in the 2015 Season and is eager to add a ninth notch to his PFVCC bedpost, while JP and MS are in search of their first PFVCC championship. All told, it is only Week 1, and it is a very long 17 weeks to victory.
Be sure to get your Week 2 picks in. Also, if you have not yet paid your dues, please submit those at your earliest convenience. Email JP with any questions.
Happy Picking.
